I liked the aesthetics of video with DSLR’s particulalry the depth of field. This is my first practice with a Panasonic Lumix GH1. The video follows a mountain biker cycling at Lee Quarry. I also took along my glidetrack.

I love to experiment with photomotion and so when the day arrived for my Big Bro & the lovely Julie to get married I decided to make them a little photomotion video to remind them of their perfect day.
This little video has taken over 3,000 photographs to create and contains no actual video footage.

A short clip from a promotional DVD I have made for the First Steps Children’s Centre in Tanhouse & Digmoor. The DVD has been created to send to over 15,000 homes in the local area with the aim of encouraging more families to use the centre and it’s facilities.

This video was made for The First Steps Children’s Centre in Tanhouse & Digmoor and focuses on the Baby Massage class.  A total of six videos were made for the Children’s Centre website with the aim of encouraging new parents & carers to attend the sessions at the centre.

Sounds of Revolution was shot in 2007. It’s a short film about the sounds of mountain biking. It was filmmed and edited within 48 hours and screened at Kendal Mountain Film Festival.

Dressed in Dreams was commissioned by Bolton Museum for their summer 2007 exhibition ‘Something Old. Something New. Brides and their dresses from the 19th to the 21st centuries’. The project involved working with brides from several ethnic communities to research the cultural & generational differences. Rebecca Savage & Signe Tillisch were co-videographers.
