I liked the aesthetics of video with DSLR’s particulalry the depth of field. This is my first practice with a Panasonic Lumix GH1. The video follows a mountain biker cycling at Lee Quarry. I also took along my glidetrack.

Sounds of Revolution was shot in 2007. It’s a short film about the sounds of mountain biking. It was filmmed and edited within 48 hours and screened at Kendal Mountain Film Festival.

Dressed in Dreams was commissioned by Bolton Museum for their summer 2007 exhibition ‘Something Old. Something New. Brides and their dresses from the 19th to the 21st centuries’. The project involved working with brides from several ethnic communities to research the cultural & generational differences. Rebecca Savage & Signe Tillisch were co-videographers.
