The original pilgrim pins were carnivalesque erotic badges made from pewter and were a twist on religious insignias and have been found across Europe. Many can be found on display in historical museums in The Netherlands. A good friend gave me a replica Vulva Huntress pin when I was having a difficult time and it made me feel so strong emotional and inspired all at the same time.
