I’m a freelance Lake District illustrator, based in Kendal. I love to be creative so I’ve made a dedicated illustration website at hannahmaia.com where I will showcase my illustrations. I find myself beavering away making images for people and brands and not sharing the good stuff so in an attempt to put that right I’ve set up a dedicated Hannah Maia illustration portfolio. I host a wider display of images and behind the scenes things on hannahmaia.com including what gets me inspired.
As a Lake District illustrator I have a constant source of inspiration for my artwork on my doorstep. I create illustrations for children’s books, editorial, commercial business and personal commissions. A lot of my images are inspired by living a full and adventurous life in the Lake District.
